There are many people who have received vaccines, however, there are people who have still tested positive for Covid. The question is how could this have happened? There are a number of reasons why this could have happened and according to The New York Times, there have been three people in Congress who have tested positive and have already received the vaccines. The three people in Congress are Adriano Espaillat, from New York, Stephen Lynch, from Massachusetts, and Lori Trahan, also from Massachusetts. There have been many more people as well to test positive for Covid.

REASONS WHY PEOPLE STILL TEST POSITIVE ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE VACCINE(S)

It is said that there are necessary not anything wrong with the vaccines themselves and/or how they were administered to people, however, there are several reasons why such mishaps have happened:

THE VACCINES MAY NOT HAVE WORKED RIGHT OFF HAND

Although it is concluded that the vaccines are the best to prevent the spread of Covid, however, once the vaccine is administered, it may take awhile for the human body to accept the full effect of the vaccine. Everyone’s body is different and adjust to medicines in different ways. It is said that a second shot may be needed for the vaccine to work properly.

VACCINES DOES NOT ALWAYS MAKE THINGS CURABLE

Although vaccines help prevent spreading infections or may cure some illnesses, however, vaccines are not guaranteed to completely rid the body of an infection, especially, an infection like Covid. There should be other remedies to help ease Covid symptoms, such as not sleeping on your back to keep the airways from getting congested, burning an orange to help get taste and smell back, and taking vitamins such as Vitamin C and D to help boost the immune system. Remember, Covid attacks worse if you have preexisting conditions.

YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY HAD A POSITIVE TEST PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE VACCINE

There are people who may already have Covid and may not necessary be aware because such symptoms can be asymptomatic. Since Covid testing may not be a routine test, meaning people may only get tested if they are experiencing symptoms, there is a strong chance that people could be walking around with Covid and not even know they have it, enabling the vaccine to take effect later on.

There are many reasons why people may have gotten the vaccine and still have Covid these are a few reasons why this could happen. It is very important to take extra steps to stay safe and prevent getting Covid.
